This section includes access to an AI support portal, designed to be used within The Raising the Bar Way as a practical aid for preparation, reflection, and documentation. This section exists to set the standard for responsible use of AI within The Raising the Bar Way.
AI is not here to replace managerial judgement, human decision, making, or professional responsibility. It is here to support them, particularly in moments where time is short, pressure is high, or the consequences of getting it wrong are real.
Throughout the book and the online programme, AI is used as a practical assistant: helping to structure thinking, clarify wording,
identify gaps, and improve consistency. It is not used to make decisions on behalf of managers, bypass proper process, or remove human accountability.
To ensure that standard is applied consistently, the use of AI across The Raising the Bar Way is governed by a clear AI Quality Code.
The code sets out the principles and boundaries that apply whenever AI is used, placing judgement, fairness, process, and accountability firmly in the lead. It exists to ensure AI raises standards rather than risk, and supports good management rather than replacing it.
Managers remain accountable at all times.
Used responsibly, AI helps managers raise the bar without cutting corners.
Used within the AI Quality Code, it becomes a quiet, reliable support, not a substitute for leadership.
